Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization through its parent organization, Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL), and is entirely run by volunteers.

TACL’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for Taiwanese Americans, and in the 1990s they formed TAP. In 2002, they embarked on a national effort of building a large network by creating various chapters that spanned across major cities.  You can now find us in Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington D.C., making it the largest Taiwanese American professionals group in the country.

We are the one and only provisional chapter in the Chicago area recognized by both national TAP and TACL.
